Students are introduced to Chinese characters, Chinese holidays. Learn to say their names. Format of the class will be primarily songs, music, games, arts, and other activities. Learn and recognize basic Chinese phrases. Start becoming familiar with Chinese culture in an active and engaging manner. The famous Soviet educators Sukhomlinski has a famous saying: “Children’s wisdom is on their finger tips.” Through origami activities, children can understand the spatial orientation, establish the concept of geometric objects, develop hand and movements, and develop visual ability. Scientific research shows that hand activity plays an important role in the growth of brain cells.

This 13 week class introduces students to the SAT and prepares them for the 3 hour exam. The course provides an overview of the Reading, Writing & Language, and Math sections of the test. This course also introduces various test-taking strategies for the exam.
