The anime art class is a class focused on helping kids develop their interest in art and creativity. Anime is a term that came from Japan, short for "animation". However this style of art has been popularized in Asian culture. In Chinese speaking countries, the style is commonly used in “动画" (Cartoons).The class is friendly to students age 5+ and will teach students tips and tricks in trying to draw simple characters, encouraging their artistic development.

The famous Soviet educators Sukhomlinski has a famous saying: “Children’s wisdom is on their finger tips.” Through origami activities, children can understand the spatial orientation, establish the concept of geometric objects, develop hand and movements, and develop visual ability. Scientific research shows that hand activity plays an important role in the growth of brain cells.

This 45 min music-based class is designed to introduce a parent and their toddler to Chinese in a fun and playful environment. It will use Chinese children's music and simple instruments to sing-along or dance and include other activities like bubbles or games like hopscotch. Please remember to bring a picnic blanket for sitting on the floor.

First session is 10/5 and will run for 8 consecutive weeks until 11/23. Class is 11:10-11:55am. Registration cost is for 1 semester only.

All students and levels welcome! Learn how to play or improve your skills at table tennis, the unofficial national sport of China. Group lessons will provide training in proper technique not only enhancing recreational play but, for those interested, establishing a foundation for competitive play. Our instructor, Coach Li, is a former Chinese national player and current US collegiate coach. Improve fitness of the body and mind!
